Getting involved
Resident Involvement Team
Get involved and make a difference in your community
We want to involve our tenants, residents and leaseholders in helping us to improve the services we offer.
How can you help us to do this ?
As a resident you can get involved in local decisions on housing matters that may affect you.
We are looking for tenants and residents who have some time to test our services.
You can get involved in one of our many groups for example
. Join our Mystery Shopping panel
· Attend one of the local Tenant and Resident Groups
· Sit on one of our four Service Panels
. Forthcoming Meetings and Events
Join Blyth Valley Residents’ Forum
The Blyth Valley Residents’ Forum (also known as the Tenants’ Forum) offers you the opportunity to get involved and communicate your views directly to Homes for Northumberland and Northumberland County Council.
The forum is open to tenants, residents, leaseholders and property owners in Blyth Valley, including Blyth, Cramlington and Seaton Valley.
It is a great opportunity for those living in the local community who have a keen interest in housing and would like to make a difference to the place they live.
Meetings take place six times a year (one every two months) and the next meeting date is Wednesday 2 November 2011 at the Buffalo Centre in Blyth at 6.30pm.
If you would like more information on how to take part, please contact our Resident Involvement Unit on 01670 542424.
