Welcome to Property Services
The Property Services team are responsible for keeping your home safe, up to date, and Improving its Energy Efficiency.
We are continually working to improve council housing within Northumberland, having already brought our properties up to the 'Decent Homes' standard, we are now further improving them, working towards 'Decent Homes Plus' in consultation with our Tenants.
The Property Services Team
Headed up by a Director with an extensive knowledge of property maintenance, refurbishment and new build in the Social Housing sector , the Property Services Team aims to provide an excellent Repairs and Maintenance service, along with a continuous programme of planned replacement and improvement work.
Repairs and Maintenance to your home
Our Repairs and Maintenance Manager has a dedicated team working to keep your home up to a high standard of repair.
We value our customers involvement and input. Our goal is to maintain the highest levels of customer satisfaction with the help of you, our Tenants. We aim to maintain these high standards by responding to day-to-day repair requests efficiently and effectively.

Repair Centre Team
Homes for Northumberland has a dedicated team responsible for taking you repairs requests.
All incoming and outgoing telephone calls through the repair centre are now recorded for training and monitoring purposes.

Planned Improvements to your home
Our Technical Services Manager based in Blyth, heads up a team of Architects, Contract Administrators and Inspectors who work with our Partner Contractors to update, upgrade and improve your home.
The Technical Services team delivered the improvements programme which brought our properties up to Decent Homes standard in 2007 and worked with our tenants to develop the 'Decent Homes Plus' standard. All of our improvements and upgrades to your home are closely managed by the team to ensure that work is carried out to the highest standard.
Our Programme and Procurement Manager leads a small team who ensure all works and services deliver good value for money, both for Homes for Northumberland and for our tenants.
At Alnwick, the Property Services Manager and his team have in-depth local knowledge of all the properties, even those which are spread throughout the extensive rural area of north Northumberland. This ensures we deliver the same high quality of service to all of our tenants, no matter where they live.
